Retreats are conducted in the peaceful surrounds of Mt
Best, with breathtaking views over nearby State Forest and Wilson's Promontory
National Park.
If weather permits, activities include scenic walks to local
rainforest, fern
tree gullies and waterfalls.
Our retreats are conducted in small groups of 4-6 people. A small group enables
tailoring the content to specific needs of participants and conduct effective
and inspiring discussions. For this reason our workshops are as individual as
the people who attend them.
Accommodation is in a modern newly built dwelling (see the photo below) with panoramic
views over the Wilson Prom, Southern and Eastern Pacific and the local rainforest.
Typically two people share a bedroom. If you need a bedroom for yourself, please
let us know when you make your booking.
What to bring to retreat at Mt Best
- An open mind. This is irreplaceable and cannot be acquired locally
- A warm pyjama/tracksuit + warm socks so you won't feel limited if you choose
to join a sunrise meditation or do some yoga
- A jumper and a warm jacket. Weather in the mountains can be colder than elsewhere,
especially during mornings and evenings
- Shoes and trousers suitable for bushwalking
- Swimsuit - just in case you choose to experience the water massage in turbulent
rockpools near the
waterfall (see left)
- All other things, including your own towel, are optional
